Anyone looking for up-to-the-minute Association information can access a collection of background information, excerpts from Association Presidents, and see who is holding a particular office within the ARGA. Any information published to this web site that a member deems offensive shall be removed immediately. We will always endeavor to publish information that is either in the public domain or approved by a majority of Association members for public distribution.

An Invitation
The Aesop Robinson Golf Association, a group of men and women in the Baltimore/Washington area, organized and playing golf at the Fort George G. Meade Golf Courses, invites you to join us for a round of golf and to consider membership in our organization.

 
Tee-Time Registration Procedures from 1997 are as applicable today as they were then for all Association members. If you get an opportunity to play a round of golf during late summer with either Earnest ("Ernie") Hall, James ("Tommy") Thompson or Garnet ("Vint") Vintes, ask them this question, "Can you show me the fruit!"  These gentlemen have an extraordinary knowledge of fruit bearing trees situated on various holes at the Fort Meade Golf Course.  Since discovery can sometimes be "sweet and juicy," have you ever wondered about the origin and rules for Aesop's Gimmee putt?

In general, one of the basic premises upon which the Aesop Robinson Golf Association is founded is the realization that even in our everyday activities, there is a constant need for the Association to have the ability to communicate with each other at a moment's notice. Information contained in this website (in conjunction with your telephone and the ARGA Roster) can be used to rapidly respond to a responsible agency, initiate an action, forward a communication, provide a notice of birth, hospitalization, illness, death, or otherwise enable Association members to act on our behalf.

Executive Committee
As you no doubt know, members of the Executive Committee are elected annually. What you may not know (or perhaps you have simply forgotten) are the names of committee members for the current calendar year. The Executive Committee is responsible for all at-large ARGA members to recommend ARGA policy, ensure effective communications, and foster golf for the mutual benefit of ARGA and its status as an Association at the Fort Meade Golf Courses.
